Pillar 1

Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights

A woman who can manage her health is a woman who can plan her future. Our SRHR work puts essential products, information and care within reach of girls and women across all nine wards of Samburu County.

Activities in detail.

Pad banks

Nine community pad banks distribute reusable and disposable kits. Each site is restocked monthly and tracked on our MEL dashboard.

Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM)

Participatory workshops for students and teachers. We train peer facilitators at every school so the knowledge stays after the BFFS team leaves.

Maternal health outreach

Joint outreach clinics with Ministry of Health CHAs and CHPs — reaching mothers in manyattas that rarely see a health worker.

GBV response

Confidential support for survivors and referrals into Kenya's justice and health systems. We work closely with Afya Timiza and the county gender office.
